En nuestra clínica aliviamos y detenemos la enfermedad periodontal.
En periodoncia mediante raspado y alisado radicular y/o cirugía, cuando esta fuese necesaria, eliminamos los contaminantes (placa bacteriana, cálculo, cemento), adheridos a las superficies de las raíces dentarias, y con el ajuste oclusal evitamos las sobrecargas que dañan los tejidos periodontales.
Alisamos las superficies de dichas raíces para facilitar la adhesión de la encía al diente.
Reducimos las bolsas periodontales para que el paciente pueda cepillarse correctamente en el surco crevicular (rendija entre la encía y el diente).
En caso de que la cirugía fuese necesaria, nuestra labor consistirá en:
Exponer las raíces en la parte profunda de las bolsas para permitir o facilitar su raspado y alisado.
Reducir la profundidad de las bolsas.
Regularizar la superficie de las raíces, para facilitar la adhesión de la encía.
Crear una morfología ósea y gingival favorable, alrededor y entre las raíces.
Regenerar el hueso especialmente en cráteres situados alrededor de algunas raíces dentarias.

In our clinic we alleviate and stop periodontal disease by scaling and root planing and / or surgery, when the latter would be necessary.
The root scraping and smothing remove contaminants (plaque, calculus, cement), adhered to the surfaces of the tooth roots.
Smoothed surfaces of these roots to facilitate adhesion of the gum to the tooth.
We reduce periodontal pockets in order to allow the patient to brush properly in the crevicular sulcus (slit between the gum and the tooth).
In the event that surgery is necessary, our task will be to:
Expose the roots into the deeper part of the bags to allow or facilitate scraping and smothing of the root.
Reduce pocket depth.
Regularize the surface of the roots in order to facilitate the adhesion of the gum.
Create a favorable bone morphology around and between the gingival roots.
Regenerate bone, especially in defects around dental roots.
